Q: Why should you book ParadICE?
A: Where do we start. First off, our syrups are homemade containing nothing but good stuff (purified water, organic sugar, fruit concentrates, & fruit purees). Our shave ice is the bomb! Secondly, we use biodegradable cups, spoons, straws, and 100% recycled napkins. Thirdly, our staff are professional, friendly, safe, clean, and respectful. And lastly, we carry a $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy and all staff are certified food handlers.

Q: What flavors do you offer?
A: At this time we are offering: Mango, Passion Fruit, Guava, Pineapple, Blood Orange, Strawberry, Coconut, Raspberry, Cherry, Pomegranate, POG, Tiger's Blood, & Key Lime.
Q: How many flavors do we get?
A: You get to choose six of our delicious flavors.
Q: Is ice cream included?
A: Yes, we provide Vanilla ice cream which is delicious at the bottom of a shave ice.
Q: What toppings are included?
A: At this time we are offering: sweetened condensed milk, local organic honey, mochi, coconut shavings, chia seeds, tajin, and li hing mui powder.
Q: Is it possible to add alcohol?
A:Yes, as long as your venue has a liquor license. You will need to provide the liquor. Rum and vodka pair well with shave ice.
Q: How much do you charge?
A: Minimum charge is $600. For events over 100 guests, we charge $6/person.
Q: Is a deposit required to book ParadICE?
A: Yes, a 50% nonrefundable deposit is required to secure your date. Remaining payment is due the day of event.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept cash, check, or credit card. A $25 charge will be applied for returned checks with insufficient funds.
Q: Is ParadICE staff included?
A: Absolutely. For events with under 150 guests we provide two members of our staff. Larger events will be staffed with 3-4 of the ParadICE crew.
Q: How long do you serve?
A: Our standard service includes two hours.
Q: Can we add additional service time?
A: Yes, the price for additional service time will depend on size and location of event.
Q: Can we add additional flavors?
A: Of course! Additional flavors are $50 per flavor.
Q: How far will you travel?
A: Currently, we service from San Luis Obispo to Calabasas.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Deposits are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your event we ask that you let us know as soon as possible.
Q: Can we increase or decrease number of guests after booking?
A: Yes. We do require a final count 30 days before event. Your final payment will be based on final guest count.
Q: Does ParadICE require anything the day of event?
A: We do require power. If your venue does not provide power, we can provide our own power and charge $100 to do so. We require 30 day notice to provide power. If no power is available the day of event, we will require full payment.
Q: Can you accommodate diabetics, vegans, or those on special diets? A: Shave ice is gluten free, fat free, and considered a vegan food. We currently are not offering sugar free syrups.
Q: Are you able to provide a certificate of insurance?
A: Yes. We do require 30 day notice if you need us to list your venue as an additional insured. If 30 day notice is not provided and we are unable to get your venue listed in time, we do require full payment if your venue prohibits us from participating in your event.
